And the main RuneScape gold benefit in slayer doesnt come in the huge drops, its the small ones adding up over time together with clues should you do them if you are smart herb runs involving jobs.
Well your best, I dont possess 85 slayer. However, that doesnt mean that I dont know a thing or two about it. There has been accounts of not getting a dip fall in 4-6 hours of continuous slaying. The fact of the matter is that the whip is a rare drop. Any help website you visit will list it as one.
The likelihood of getting a whip inside a 75-125 kill array is possible, not tipacal, but possible. You have more of a chance of receiving it within a 1-540 kill range. However, you might not get one. Moreover, if you ask anybody why they instruct slayer, its almost always for the huge drops. Ex: Saved from abby deamons, sol from ice strykewyrms etc.
Even if they slay for all those drops most of their gain wont come out of them, particularly on ice wyrms they have drops that are amazing, the SOL is only a small bonus. The 1/540 comes in the average drop (mite be 520 cant recall ) but it comes from gamers submitting exactly how many kills it requires them to get a whip, yes its possible to have on your range, but isnt the drop rate.
Helm of Neitiznot - It's a great'balanced' helm, get Verac's/Torag's helm if you want more defensive stats or Fighter hat to get offensive stats (about the same stats as a Rune full helm but together with bonuses in the Stab, Slash and Crush attack styles)
Guthans Plate - Decent, Fighter torso provides a wonderful Strength bonus so that it's also a fantastic alternative if you can't manage Bandos; also I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe Torag's (and Dharok's) provides cheap School RS Gold slightly better defensive stats and can be worth 650kish so it's well worth getting imo. Verac Skirt - Obby shield (operating towards rune/dragon defender) - You should really get a Dragon defender.
